8faders | Max for Live device

8faders is a bank of 8 faders for controlling parameters in Ableton Live.

Map faders to any parameter in your live set and control them from many places.

Use as many instances of 8faders as you like to control device parameters, or the mixer in Live, and have them handy wherever you may be.

Faders can be operated from the device UI itself, from Push, via Mira using an iPad, or via MiraWeb using any device with a web browser.

Using Mira/MiraWeb you can control many instances of 8faders from your phone, tablet or computer.

Clicking the small grey switch on the right hand side of the device opens the Mira panel. Here you can assign a unique identifier for the device which will show as a tab in Mira. The Mira panel provides information about the host and port for connection to Mira, as well as a text field for copying and pasting, a button to open Mira on your machine's default web browser, and a button to refresh the websocket connection info.

There is a colour selection tool on the bottom right of the device that allows you select from 10 hand selected colours. These will help you to differentiate between selected tabs.

Requirements: 8faders works with Live 11 and 12 (it may also work on earlier versions). It does require Live Suite, or Live Standard with Max For Live installed. In order to make use of Miraweb functionality, you will need to install the Miraweb package from the Max package manager. To do this, simply click the edit button on the device to open Max, navigate to file>package manager. From there, just type miraweb in the search field and install the package.

It is working on Mac, but hasn't been tested for PC as I do not have one. It will likely work fine.
